Weekly review cw 12
A week of vacation focused on mindfulness and a touch of political cabaret.

Admitting to Performance
I used the two weeks of vacation to train intensively in table tennis and continue my challenges (100 push-ups daily and at least 2 minutes of planks). The result is enormous pain in my right shoulder, so I decided to take a week off on Thursday. This step shows me how much I overestimate my performance. I need to be more mindful of my body.
Mood Diary
I often spent sunny days on the terrace with coffee and a magazine or book. The magazine "Fit and Healthy" had many interesting articles about the joy of life, mental strength, a healthy body, and a good night's sleep. In the context of my goal of being more mindful of myself, I came across the article "Better Mood Thanks to Mood Diary."

I follow this approach in my bullet journal. I created a collection for this purpose in which I rate various categories (sleep, nutrition, social life, exercise, work, and relationships) on a scale of 1 to 5. Additionally, there's a balloon for each day, which I color green, yellow, or red depending on my mood that evening. I'm curious to see what insights emerge – here's an image after four days:

In addition, I answer the following questions for myself. The topic of gratitude and focusing on a single intention for the following day is critical.
- How did the day go overall?
- What challenges did you face?
- What was the highlight of the day?
- What did I learn today?
- Do I notice any patterns?
- Other reflections
- 3 things I'm grateful for
- What is my intention for tomorrow?
Poetry Against Populism
I was at the Markthalle in Hamburg on Thursday evening with Sarah Bosetti. It was a refreshingly entertaining and thought-provoking evening. Sarah's texts, poems, and thoughts draw her listeners' attention to socially relevant topics disguised with humor, making criticism less harsh and thus inspiring constructive discussion.

Server Side Stories
This week, episode 10 "The Right Work Environment for More Productivity" of my podcast was released. In it, I discuss with Maurice the influence a good work environment has on our productivity and well-being. For example, if we are briefly distracted, it can take up to 15 minutes to get back into the flow. A suitable environment is crucial for solving complex issues and getting into the “tunnel” where we can work in a focused manner.
