Development of software and myself

In this blog, I describe my view and experience as a remote-only developer. I tell of the books that I read for my further development and report on the thoughts that are initiated. My focus is to escape the comfort zone and to share the knowledge gained.

I am happy about every new person who accompanies me on this way. If you want to become part of the way, let's get a modern work or your daily challenges through the "Why" in life. If not, that's OK and I wish you a lot of fun with my blog YADL - Yet Another Developer Learning.

The fifth book concludes the series. All the story threads are brought together conclusively—at least. However, this happens in a finale in the last 50 pages that, for my taste, is too brief. Before that, the narrative delves into many details and slows down the pace to make the finale all the more spectacular. I wish Bernhard had devoted more time and pages to the many heroes and their roles a…

Dead Dungeon - Dungeon Master (Volume 6)

Volume 6 shows why delegation and trust as a dungeon master are a double-edged sword. The story is used to unexpected twists. In addition, there is the steady development of the protagonist, which surprises readers just as much as the hero. The story is continued at an incredible pace, giving me a lot of fun while reading.

Dead Dungeon - Dungeon Assault (Volume 5)

In volume 5, the dungeon is attacked by alien forces, and the Dungeon Master must wage a determined defensive battle with all his resources and allies, driving character and world development. The series remains true to the LitRPG genre: there are system elements, level progression, and tactical challenges in the fight against the invaders.
