My journey to Why - or why there is this blog?

Since Simon Sinek's "Start with why" it has been clear to me that WHY is important. It's the base for any following step. How easily everything comes together and all the great examples of people who have done it and lived it. I just can't find such a WHY and that's driving me crazy!

When I search - and it goes on for over a decade, initially without knowing that I'm looking for it - I fight my way through the jungle of possibilities. I read all kinds of books and articles in the field. I tried the 6 minute journal to get to the deeper meaning through gratitude. I journaled and stopped…and eventually started bullet journaling (but that’s a different topic).

To finally put an end to this, I defined my why as the search for the why. And if you feel the same way, you've come to the right place. In this blog I want to write about the journey to get here and show how some old decisions affect today. At the same time, I will take you with me on my future experiments, on my failures and successes, and share my findings during the search.

When searching, I sometimes directly and usually indirectly stumble upon various topics that sometimes have more or less to do with the actual search but in the end always have relevance for a balanced, healthy life. You will find here:
