My reading list

I read different book series and a specialist book at the same time. When choosing my next book, I always wanted an overview. This page was created out of this wish. Here you will find books from both the private sector (mainly fantasy and thrillers) and professional environments.

Review "Rework"

The byproduct of two authors' daily work, poured into a book. I've read it and can only recommend it under one condition: Have a pen, paper, and the leisure to question things while reading.

The Grand Game - Way of the Wolf (Volume 2)

Way of the Wolf is book two in Tom Elliot's LitRPG series. Just like in book one, Michael's adventure continues. The development of the heroes and game mechanics takes unexpected turns. New elements are introduced into the narrative. The tactical positioning of forces and powers within the world plays a crucial role. I'm enjoying the genre more and more. I'm excited for book three.

The Grand Game (Volume 1)

“The Great Game” marks the start of a new series in the LitRPG genre. After my first foray into the genre with Dungeon Hunter, this is already my second series. I don't regret a single word I've read. I'm captivated by the narrative style and the exploratory hunt of the game mechanics as part of the storyline. However, this book is only enjoyable if you like this rules-based storytelling style. I'm thrilled with volume 1, and I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel.

Krosann Saga - The Downfall (Volume 7)

The Krosann Saga concludes with its seventh volume, “The Downfall.” Volume six would have been a suitable ending, but a loose story line was left, which Sam now picks up. This allowed me to experience my beloved characters in one final, turbulent adventure – written with the usual warmth and exciting style.

The entire series is an absolute must-read for fantasy fans. I devoured the books.

Krosann Saga - The Traitor (Volume 6)

Throughout the entire novel, I was on the edge of my seat: Who is the traitor, and whom are they betraying? Sam once again maintains suspense, keeping the question open until the very end. Thankfully, the many plot threads remain clear, and he doesn't get bogged down. The novel almost feels like the series's conclusion. But for Karek, becoming the ruler of all is still a long way off… I'm looking forward to the finale, which is wonderfully set up here.

Krosann Saga - The Soul Spear (Volume 5)

The entire world of Krosann is in chaos, plagued by civil war and violence. In the midst of it all, the heroes try to find their way. Sam finds time for the side characters. As a reader, I get insights from their perspectives in some chapters, which makes them even more likeable. Sam's writing style and the humour woven throughout are particularly significant because they're so sharp. Thus, without any warning, the group faces seemingly insurmountable challenges on various fronts. Super exciting
