Weekly review cw 26
A new tool has been added to the digital quiver, while my blog has received a minor update. Step by step, things are progressing steadily.

Another tool in the digital quiver
Two weeks ago, Maurice and I launched konzentrik Tools. We intend to add new tools, both free and paid, regularly. This week, we chose a Kirby plug-in that allows you to subscribe to scheduled blog articles in a calendar of your choice.
For this task, we aimed to explore the concept of licence keys and their activation process. A one-time payment provides a licence key. Use in your own Kirby instance leads to activation. Only if this is successful will the full range of features be activated; otherwise, the limited, free version remains active.
We used Lemon Squeezy for the implementation. This payment provider offers a licence server including an interface. I found the documentation confusing because the relevant concepts were scattered throughout the descriptions of the calls, so I had to jump back and forth until I understood everything.
YADL Adjustment
I'm writing this blog not only for reflection and to satisfy my need for recognition, but also to build trust and leads. So far, I've included calls to action in a few places, but unfortunately, I haven't generated any response. After ten months, it was time to summarize and make adjustments. The lack of success may be due to my way to addressing the reader or my content.
I've decided to tackle the topic of addressing. Therefore, there are a few small changes that regular readers might notice:
- On the homepage, in the first text block, I've more clearly addressed the topics I want to discuss.
- As soon as you scroll down the page, a coffee mug floats in. Click to schedule a digital coffee appointment.
- In my notes, there's a distraction block built in after the fifth and fifteenth entries.
- I can specifically include a CTA in blog articles – I tried this for the first time in the article: Blog Systems Beyond WordPress.
- And as I'm writing this, it occurs to me that I could include such a CTA here as well for illustration.
Great that you're here
You have no idea how excited I am to have a conversation with you. You can find out 😉
Come, let's talkGetting everything under control
This week went completely differently than expected. All the evenings were booked. Firstly, because I started table tennis training again, and secondly because I was without my better half on Tuesday and Thursday, meaning I didn't have access to the yoga app. Looking back, it's a cheap excuse, but a grateful excuse for that particular evening. For the coming week, I need a new strategy for combining training with yoga.
- Monday Table tennis training
- Tuesday -/-
- Wednesday Table tennis training
- Thursday -/-
- Friday Table tennis training
- Saturday Table tennis training
- Sunday Rest day
