Blog weeks – Beautiful homemade picture
My photo collection features four types of pictures: from visionary to romantic to humorous, and includes a short story.

My first impulse was to skip this post. I don't take photos—except sometimes with my phone for the family photo album. There's nothing worth seeing there. In the end, I decided to take up the topic and use it as an opportunity to look through the photo album. This form of doomscrolling is much more pleasant than social media. And I've found what I was looking for.
A visionary image
I have a similar AI-generated image for my newsletter. When I started, I didn't know I had such a fantastic photo in my repertoire. For me, this photo is symbolic of the visionary look ahead along a path that doesn't always run smoothly, yet is full of confidence in the future. The photo was taken as a passenger in a camper travelling through Sweden... or was it Denmark? In any case, a great moment.

A picture of the Baltic Sea
Our family holidays with children have always been characterized by Baltic Sea beaches... occasionally also by the North Sea. This panoramic shot is my interpretation of the classic postcard format, showcasing the dune landscape of the North Sea, if I recall correctly. The small coloured spot on the lower right indicates a windy and rather cool autumn day.

A romantic picture
The picture doesn't show anyone in particular, yet it's a wonderful memory for the two people in the picture. This time, I'm almost sure it's the Baltic Sea.

A funny picture
On hikes, we usually bring bread as food. How many each one in my family eats is often unclear beforehand, which is why they are packed dry so that the children will eat them too. And they're picky about their cold cuts. So I don't have to eat the bread this way, I brought salami sticks with me, which I pressed into bread in this case. The result was this George Lucas-worthy creature that landed on Earth and wanted to call home.
