My goals and plans for 2025

The current year is ending, and it's time to plan for the new year. You can find my resolutions, plans, and achievements at any time on the Now page. At the same time, it helps me to formulate them and thus create greater commitment.

Content creation

I need to keep the focus on content creation. Here's what I'm going to do in this context:

  • Write at least two weekly blog articles – a weekly review and another article.
  • With my colleague Maurice Renck, we publish a new episode of the podcast “Server Side Stories” every two weeks.
  • Send a newsletter to my loyal subscribers every month.
  • Publish a blog post every month for konzentrik.
  • Publish a monthly post for RapidStream.
  • Create a website for the table tennis department and also provide it with content.

Sports

So that I don't just spend time sitting and working on the computer, I will continue to do sports. Of course, there is still a focus on healthy eating, but I don't want to set a target weight this year, but rather focus on the activities:

  • Go to the gym at least twice a week.
  • Practice table tennis at least twice a week.
  • Go for a run in the forest once a week.

Training

For my further training, I focused on reading, inspired by the book “Win your inner battles.” On the one hand, it offers me a lot of input for book reviews and helps me with content creation, and on the other hand, thanks to my bullet journal, I have found that I can draw a lot of inspiration and ideas from the books. So why not use it and do more of it:

  • Read specialist books for an hour every day.
  • Complete my AWS Solution Architect training.
  • Complete my training to become a club manager.

Conclusion

When I read about my goals, I realize that simply setting them firmly is not enough to achieve them. I have to establish new habits, strengthen and expand existing ones, and at the same time, not allow myself to be distracted because the goals seem very time-consuming to implement. I will keep you updated - I wish you a happy new year. See you next year!
