Newsletter #002

Luckily, I had already started my newsletter on the 3rd Advent in the evening light of the Christmas tree, so I could send out my newsletter as planned. To get more responses, I broadcast to my network in advance and asked individuals to subscribe. So I can start the Christmas season with 19 subscribers. This feels great.

If you don't have a subscription, you can subscribe here.

Server Side Stories

In the fifth episode of Server Side Stories, Maurice and I give a personal and professional review of the year. We discuss current projects, difficulties, and goals we have achieved. It's a light episode about our past year and the year to come.

RPG campaign

I got fit again just in time for our campaign. On Saturday evening, we had a delicious meal of chili and then off to the basement for a DnD evening. Our master had us continue to gather information about an ominous and ancient cult. Our path led us down into a cellar, the entrance to which turned out to be magical portals. Behind them were giant spiders, gnolls, and fanatics... the perfect setting for an epic battle.

Path of Exile 2

If you haven't noticed by now - the Diablo 4 killer game has started the testing phase. I joined the early access program and am enjoying the game to the fullest. There are epic boss fights, the skill tree borders on rocket science, and the overall atmosphere, graphics, characters, and monsters are great. This will keep me awake for a few evenings during the relaxing time between the years ☺️

And the disease strikes back again

This year ends like a charm. After I had already COVID in mid-November, a new infection forced me to rest. I can't remember the last time I was completely turned off twice in such a short space of time. Very frightening. Luckily, there were no pressing business deadlines.
