Family trip to Qlimax

At the weekend, I went to Qlimax in the Netherlands with my brother and niece. It was another superlative bass-rich experience—almost 30 thousand hardstyle celebrated the "Final Prophecy." With eight hours of travel and departure, plus dancing the night away, Sunday only existed in the calendar. And I didn't get up all week.

Training

I lay flat the entire week - in isolation so that I wouldn't infect anyone in the family. COVID is and remains a nasty virus. However, from the middle of the week, I was able to pull myself together to study for the upcoming exams. This meant meeting the approaching completion date for the “TV Masters by Thinkbox” course and completing all the videos and questionnaires. On Thursday, the time had come, and I received my certificate.

At the same time, I prepared for my final exam for the table tennis trainer C license. Luckily, I had prepared index cards the weeks before. I have read these very often. From Friday, in the usual manner from studying while walking - I can memorize very well if I have summarized the content on index cards, read it out loud, and repeat it to myself while running. It's not just bulimia learning, but a lot of things stick in the long term.

This Saturday, the time had come. The practical and theoretical parts have been completed. The code of honor has been signed, and the first aid course is completed. I have my C license!

Fruits of the preparatory work

The third episode of my podcast "Server Side Stories" went live on Thursday. I discuss the topic "Git and SemVer for beginners" with Maurice. Fortunately, thanks to the editorial plan, the preparatory work was completed so that the two-week rhythm was maintained despite illness.
